The Østmo X Iron Boots collaboration comes as a result of Lars' wish to make his creations more widely available than what a single craftsperson can provide, while adhering to an unyielding level of material quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Iron Boots are fully handmade by master bootmaker Kai and 5 teammates together in a small studio in Guangzhou, China. They are built using hand stitchdown construction, using Østmo lasts and patterns. Each pair is 100% hand lasted, hand bottomed, and the outsole stitching is also done entirely by hand - just like how Lars also does it.

While the upper leather changes for each release, the boots are built using 6mm. leather insoles, leather heel counters and toe puffs, full Italian leather lining and 5mm. Italian leather midsoles and heel stacks.
